This is something I've had in my mind to do for quite a while. And it came out nothing like I envisioned. But, freeform beading is that way.
I'm glad to have finished it. I've been in a creative funk so to speak. I got bogged down with this a little bit, but I'm pleased with how it turned out.
I've also gotten bogged down in a knitting project which I frogged for the third time last night. Well, these things happen.
I think I'm also done with the BJP project for February, but I'm not real happy with it. So, do I do it over? Or move on? I'm thinking move on, but I'm going to ponder that a bit.
Anyway, I'm going to lock myself in my little room and work on some polymer clay. Maybe. The sun is shinning and the outdoors is calling me. . .
I really like this - it is very delicate with subtle colors that compliment the beading.
ReplyDeleteI'm looking forward to seeing your Feb. bead journal piece. Mine didn't go as planned, either, but it was a fun exercise and I like how it turned out. Sometimes, it's best to just move forward! :)
Wow Connie - that is beautiful! You are sooooo talented, could you come over here and drip a little bit of that on me, please??? Lovely!
ReplyDeleteI think you captured the "Stardust" name perfectly. It's such a very beautiful and delicate wisp of frothy loveliness. I could see it worn to perfection on a midnight blue piece of clothing (velvet!).
ReplyDeleteOkay, it's been nearly seven months. My bad.
ReplyDeleteThank-you all for the kind words!
