Jan. Bead Journal Project is Done!

It's small, but I think that is good. I was able to finish without stressing over it.

I was inspired by the snow we had over New Years (which is long gone).  We don't get a lot of snow  and it doesn't last very long.

Onward!  "The Painting" is nearing completion.  It's on a gallery wrap type canvas, and I painted the bottom a couple of days ago.  It's sitting upside down drying.  As soon as I can turn it back over, I'm finishing it.  Hopefully, this weekend.  I'm going to lock myself in my little room and not come out until it's done.

And, I worked on some polymer clay buttons for "Thorn Rainbowfly" (my knitted fae project).  I try to post some pictures of them tomorrow.

I've got lots of other things whirling around in my brain to work on.  It feels good to have my room done and to get back creating stuff!

  1. Oh that is lovely! I really like your color combination and the curves. So did you intentionally design the eye in or did it just end up that way? Can't wait to see your next ones! Enjoying seeing all of your creative en devours as I work my way back through your blog :)

  7. Very, very pretty, and I'm so impressed with the perfect placement of each bead! I'm struggling a bit with this, and now I've decided my eyes are not seeing my work well enough. I have brand new glasses with perfect correction for my vision, but beading seems to require a whole other thing. All suggestions welcome!

  8. A lovely piece...it looks like a woven piece, which is an effect I would like to achieve.
    Looking forward to "RED".
